Christina Hartmann-Benchoff founded Prickle Forrest Books as a subdivision of Prickle Forrest LLC in 2023 to champion self-published and Indie authors. We’re here to break the stigma and showcase incredible talent with affordable promotion services. While we love all authors, Indie and self-published are our priority. Meet Christina Hartmann-Benchoff, the powerhouse behind Prickle Forrest Books — Prickle Forrest LLC. Armed with a history degree and a knack for editing, she’s navigated roles from library technician to award-winning writer and indie publisher. Despite visual impairment since 1995, Christina’s penned two acclaimed short stories and several novels, with more on the way. When not spinning vinyl with her husband or enjoying time with her Eagle Scout and furry companions, she dreams of island life — specifically, Put-In-Bay, where she can stay close to home without the sharks.
