Publisher’s Note:
A Fake Relationship Romantic Comedy
It seemed like a good idea at the time…
Lily:
A split second decision led to our Vegas wedding…but also to me pretending to still be his wife.
Will my therapist keep me on or just quit?
Joel:
My grandmother’s dying wish was to meet my wife. So I introduced her. Except it turns out my grandmother is not dying, and she has no idea about my divorce.
I’m in trouble.
My Review:
Pretending In Paradise is a delightful RomCom that weaves a charming tale of a fake relationship turned real from the first dance to the last kiss with the resort antics in-between. Lily and Joel’s journey to appease Joel’s “dying” grandmother unfolds at a beach resort adding a scenic backdrop to their rekindled romance. The witty dialogue keeps the reader engaged while unique scenes and clever plot twists add an extra layer of enjoyment. The story beautifully explores the challenges of failed relationships and the importance of communication making it a heart warming read with a perfect blend of humor and romance.
Definitely not “Pretending In Paradise” when I say this is worth the read.
Marking this as a favorite in the sweet contemporary romances. Well done, Franky Brown.
